Yesterday marked the start of Canada’s first ever Pride Month, taking place throughout Toronto from June 1- July 3. With that comes an extended list of events and activities, including opportunities for the whole family to participate in some of the kid-friendly programing. Here’s just a sampling of some of the all ages events that families of all backgrounds will enjoy!
1st Annual Family Pride Day at Centreville Theme Park - June 5
Enjoy a day of rides, games, and great food at Centre Island’s landmark theme park. With over 30 rides and attractions, children of all ages will be sure to enjoy this inaugural Pride Day event!

TIFF Family Pride Screening, TIFF Bell Lightbox - June 19
The whole family will enjoy this lineup of animated and live-action short films taking place at TIFF Bell Lightbox. This year’s compilation celebrates our differences, and teaches how we can find belonging by being our unique selves.

Family Pride - July 2nd & 3rd
Celebrating its 16th year with Pride Toronto, Family Pride is a family-friendly celebration held on the grounds of the Church Street Public School, with programs that are geared towards families and children to age 12. There will be plenty of games, crafts, story telling, performances and sports to participate in!

Fruit Loopz- July 2nd
Join in the 14th year of the Fruit Loopz Youth Stage- a celebration of arts, words, and ideas from young artists taking place at the Ryerson Quad. Expect poets, bands, spoken word artists, singers and dancers at this youth-focused space!
